Before you start

  • A number of engine components and lubricants lose their properties over time; consider whether they need replacing based on age.

Procedure

  1. Remove the protective sheet.
  2. Remove any sealing devices from the exhaust and intake ducts.
  3. Use a cloth soaked in degreasing product to remove the protective treatment from external parts.
  4. Inject lubricating oil (not more than 2 cm3) into the intake ducts.
  5. Turn the engine manually to check the correct movement and smoothness of the mechanical parts.
  6. Refill the tank with fresh fuel.
  7. Make sure that the oil is up to the maximum level.
  8. Start the engine and after some minutes bring it to ¾ of the maximum speed for 5÷10 minutes.
  9. Turn off the engine.
  10. Remove the oil drain plug and discharge the AGIP RUSTIA NT protective oil while the engine is hot.
  11. Pour new oil up to the maximum level.
  12. Replace the filters (air, oil, fuel) with original spare parts.
