Procedure
- Start engine to idling speed.
- Unscrew delivery limiting device C.
- Accelerate the engine and load the dynamometric brake to obtain the power at the rpm required.
- Check that fuel consumption falls within the table specifications.
- Tighten limiting device C until the engine rpm slightly decreases and lock it with the lock nut.
- Completely release the brake and check the idle speed at which the engine settles.
- Set the idle speed with warm engine.
- Check valve clearance when engine has cooled down.
- Stop the engine.
