Before you start
- Do not use force on adjustment needles.
Procedure
- Install needle seat, needle, float and float pin.
- Set float level to 11/64 in. plus or minus 1/32 in.
- Adjust by bending lip of float with small screwdriver.
- Install new bowl ring gasket, bowl baffle gasket, bowl nut gasket and bowl nut; tighten securely.
- Install main fuel adjustment needle and spring; back out 2-1/2 turns.
- Install idle fuel adjustment needle and spring; back out 3/4 to 1 full turn.
