Kohler — Install Closure Plate

Procedure
- Check that sealing surfaces of crankcase and closure plate are clean and free of nicks or burrs.
- Install dowel pins and a new closure plate gasket (dry) onto dowel pins.
- Install closure plate to crankcase; seat ends of camshaft into mating bearings. Rotate crankshaft slightly to engage governor gear teeth.
- Install screws securing closure plate. Torque screws in sequence shown to 24 N·m (212 in. lb.).
