Before you start
- Disconnect load before adjusting governor speed
- Check droop and governor response at various loads
Procedure
- 3. Move throttle lever to wide-open/full throttle position
- 1. Place throttle control into idle or slow position.
- 2. Low idle fuel needle(s) setting: place throttle into
- 3. Recheck/adjust Low Idle Speed (RPM) to
- 1. With engine running, move throttle control to fast.
- 2. Turn inner adjustment screw outward to decrease, or
- 1. Perform removal procedures for appropriate air
- 2. Clean exterior surfaces of dirt or foreign material
- 3. Remove fl oat pin (some carburetors may have a
- 4. Clean carburetor bowl and inlet seat areas

Specs & torque values
- 1500-1800 RPM recommended idle
- 300 RPM higher governed idle
- 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 rated loads
