Kohler — Fuel Shut-Off Servicing

Before you start

  • Explosive Fuel can cause fires and severe burns

Procedure

  1. Stop engine. Turn fuel shut-off lever to OFF position.
  2. Remove fuel shut-off cup. Clean with solvent and wipe dry.
  3. Inspect for worn or damaged O-ring; replace as necessary.
  4. Place O-ring on fuel shut-off cup. Install cup and O-ring; rotate until finger tight. Turn with a wrench 1/2 to 3/4 full turn.
  5. Turn fuel shut-off lever to ON position and check for leaks.
  6. Tighten fuel tank cap securely.
