Kohler — Fuel Shut-Off Cup Cleaning

Before you start
- Explosive Fuel can cause fires and severe burns. Do not fill fuel tank while engine is hot or running.
Procedure
- Stop engine. Turn fuel shut-off lever to OFF position.
- Remove fuel shut-off cup. Clean fuel shut-off cup with solvent and wipe dry.
- Inspect for worn or damaged O-ring; replace as necessary.
- Place O-ring on fuel shut-off cup. Install cup and O-ring; rotate until finger tight. Turn with wrench 1/2 to 3/4 full turn.
- Turn fuel shut-off lever to ON position and check for leaks. If leaks, repeat steps 5 and 6.
- Tighten fuel tank cap securely.
