Procedure

  1. 1. Disconnect the lead from the stud terminal. See
  2. Figure 9-12. Disconnect both leads on Solenoid
  3. Shift Starter.
  4. 2. Remove the two hex flange screws and starter
  5. cover.
  6. 3. Remove the starter assembly and spacers from
  7. the studs.
  8. 1. Remove the wire connector from the rectifier-regu-
  9. lator. See Figure 9-13.
  10. 2. Remove the two hex flange screws and rectifier-
  11. regulator.
  12. 1. Disconnect the lead from the Oil Sentry™ switch.
  13. 2. Remove Oil Sentry™ switch from the oil filter
  14. adapter. See Figure 9-14.
