Before you start

  • NOTE: The intake hydraulic lifter is farthest from
  • NOTE: Insert the screwdriver only in the splitting

Procedure

  1. 2. Locate the splitting notches in the seam of the
  2. closure plate and crankcase. See Figure 9~34. Pry
  3. the closure plate from the crankcase using a large
  4. flat-blade screwdriver.
