Kohler — Procedure 1

For these Kohler models: 10/15RMOY, 15/17.5ROY, 15RMY, 22.5-47.5ROZ, 22.5/32.5RZ.

Procedure

1. 10. To remove the rotor loosen the thru bolt 2-3 turns and
2. break the rotor loose from taper by striking the bolt
3. head with a heavy lead mallet. \f after striking bolt
4. head the rotor can be rocked slightly back and forth in
5. 1. Vibro-Mount place, remove thru bolt and pull rotor away from en-
6. 2. Ground Strap gine. If rotor is not loose, repeat procedure. The gen-

17. Use a feeler gauge to set air gap between sensor and
18. lobe at 0.020" (0.508 mm) (Figure 4-17). CAUTION
19. If brush retainer wire is not removed, voltage
20. regulator will be damaged when generator is
