Before you start
- NOTE: The use of a gasket-removing solvent is

Procedure
- 2. Using a sof!-faced hammer, carefully tap the cyl-
- inder barrels between the intake and exhaust ports
- to break the seal between cylinder barrels and
- crankcase.
- 3. Suppor the weight of barrels with hands, and
- carefully pull the barrels from the studs and pis-
- tons, Refer to Figure 9~24.
- NOTE: To prevent damage to pistons or connect:
- ing rods when removing barrels, make
- sure the cylinder barrels and connecting
- rods are supported at all times. Do not
- allow the pistons or connecting rods to
- drop against edges of crankcase,
