Procedure
- 2. The cylinder barrels are already identified as #1 or
- #2 by a mark stamped near the valve cover/
- breather gasket surface.
- 3. Identify other engine components, such as the
- valves, pistons, connecting rods and rod caps,
- and vaive tappets, prior to removal or
- disassembly.
- 1. Remove the spark plugs from cylinder heads.
- 2. Remove the hex. cap screws, plain washers, cyl-
- inder heads, and gaskets. Refer to Figure 9-22.
