Kohler — CVT Drive Belt Removal and Installation

Before you start
- Components may be hot; allow to cool before working.
Procedure
- Park on level surface, raise/support bed, shut engine off, engage parking brake, remove key.
- Remove CVT enclosure cover.
- Use 1 in open end wrench in secondary clutch opening to pry sheaves apart.
- Remove drive belt from primary clutch then secondary clutch.
- To install, pry secondary clutch sheaves apart and place belt between them.
- Route drive belt onto primary clutch and remove wrench.
- Check belt is centered between sheaves of both clutches.
- Install CVT enclosure cover and lower bed.
