Before you start
- Hazardous voltage. Will cause severe injury or death. Disconnect all power sources before opening enclosure.
Procedure
- Disconnect both the normal and emergency power sources.
- Open the enclosure door of the ATS.
- Disconnect the normal and emergency power sources and load connections from the contactor terminals.
- Disconnect P1 of the contactor assembly harness from P1 of the logic control harness.
- Remove the screws and flat washers. Lift the switch panel out of the enclosure.
- Place the contactor assembly on a work bench.
- Remove the tie bars between the load connection lugs of the two contactors.
- Disconnect wiring harness from auxiliary switch and contactor coil.
- Remove screws and separate the contactor from the contactor assembly panel.
- Remove the mechanical interlock from the contactor.
- Remove the auxiliary switch from the contactor.
- On 25-80 ampere mechanically held contactors, remove the mechanical latch.
