Procedure
- Remove air cleaner cover (remove retaining screw if equipped, press and hold tab).
- Remove precleaner from element retainer.
- Wash in warm water with detergent, rinse, squeeze out excess water, air-dry.
- Saturate with new engine oil and squeeze out excess oil.
- Reinstall precleaner in element retainer.
- Reinstall cover and ensure latch snaps securely.
