Before you start
- Do not tamper with governor setting; overspeed is hazardous
Procedure
- Loosen the governor lever hex nut.
- Pull and hold governor lever away from carburetor so throttle plate is wide open.
- Grasp governor cross shaft with pliers and turn counterclockwise as far as it will go.
- Tighten the hex nut securely.
