Before you start
- Belt guard must be in place when operating generator set
Procedure
- Remove the belt guard
- Loosen the adjusting plate capscrews
- Shift the plate until proper belt tension is obtained
- Retighten the screws holding the plate at the new setting
- Replace the belt guard
Specs & values
- Belt should deflect about 1/2 in. (12.7 mm)
