Before you start
- Do not clean elements with pressurized air; elements will be ruined.
Procedure
- Unhook two retaining clips; remove end cap.
- Pull air cleaner element out of housing.
- Check inner safety element; clean area before removal.
- Replace elements if dirty; do not clean with compressed air.
- Install new inner element Kohler 25 083 04-S.
- Install new outer element Kohler 25 083 01-S.
- Reinstall end cap with dust ejector valve facing down.
Specs & values
- Replace every 250 hours or sooner under dusty conditions
