Procedure
- Press OFF to stop the generator set and allow it to cool.
- Disconnect the temperature sensor and measure resistance across it with an ohmmeter; resistance varies with temperature per Figure 6-11.
- If resistance is very low (short) or very high (open), replace the sensor.
