Before you start
- Disconnect battery before working on generator set
- Dispose of waste oil/filter in environmentally safe manner

Procedure
- Press OFF on RDC2 controller
- Disconnect battery charger power
- Disconnect starting battery negative lead first
- Remove housing side panel
- Install drain hose on oil drain fitting
- Open oil drain valve and drain oil completely
- Close oil drain valve, replace drain plug
- Remove oil filter counterclockwise with filter wrench
- Clean filter adapter contact surface, oil new filter seal
- Install new oil filter
- Fill with recommended oil to capacity
- Reconnect battery negative lead last, reconnect charger
- Start engine and check for leaks around filter
- Stop engine, check/top off oil level
- Reset maintenance timer on RDC2
