Before you start
- Explosive fuel vapors. Use extreme care when handling, storing, and using fuels.
Procedure
- Reconnect the battery.
- Re-apply the 120 VAC power supply by closing the upstream circuit breaker.
- Reconnect the fuel line and turn on the fuel supply.
- Press RUN to start the generator set and check for leaks with the engine running.
- Follow Section 4.8 to purge air from the cooling system.
- If equipped, plug in the block heater power cord.
- Press OFF to turn off the generator set; then press AUTO if an ATS or remote start/stop switch is used.
