Before you start

  • Hazardous voltage. Will cause severe injury or death. Disconnect all power sources before opening the enclosure.
  • Accidental starting. Disconnect the battery cables before working; remove the negative lead first.

Procedure

  1. Remove the doors: unlock with latch key, lift and remove, and disconnect the ground cable.
  2. Remove the roof: remove fourteen screws (three each side, four each end) and lift off.
  3. Remove the side panels: remove bulkhead and skid screws, then lift off.
  4. Remove the front panel: remove three skid screws and two exhaust bracket screws, then lift off.
  5. Remove the rear panel: remove four skid screws, disconnect the engine snorkel from the air cleaner, and lift off.
