Procedure
- Add Kohler PRO Series fuel treatment or equivalent
- Change oil while engine is still warm from operation.
- Disconnect negative (-) battery cable.
- Store engine in a clean, dry place.
- Using an abrasive cut-off wheel, cut out a six tooth
- Grind off any burrs or sharp edges.
- Invert segment and place it between ignition bosses
- Find a used connecting rod from a 10 HP or larger
- Remove studs of a Posi-Lock rod or grind off
- Find a 1 in. long capscrew with correct thread size to
- Use a flat washer with correct I.D. to slip on
