Procedure
- Clean area around base of spark plug to keep dirt out of engine.
- Remove spark plug and check its condition; replace if worn.
- Check gap using wire feeler gauge and adjust to 0.76 mm (0.030 in.).
- Adjust gap by carefully bending the ground electrode.
- Install spark plug.
