Procedure
- Place master switch in OFF/RESET and disconnect battery charger power.
- Disconnect battery, negative (--) lead first.
- Loosen cover retaining knob and remove cover; remove precleaner from paper element.
- Wash precleaner in warm water with detergent and rinse thoroughly.
- Squeeze out excess water (do not wring) and allow to air dry.
- Saturate precleaner with new engine oil and squeeze out excess oil.
- Reinstall precleaner over paper element and reinstall cover; secure with knob.
- Reconnect battery charger power; reconnect battery, negative (--) lead last.
