Procedure
- Verify unit alignment, three feet air space on all four sides, oil level, fuel connections, AC and DC wiring, battery and charger.
- Set Mode switch to manual with circuit breaker on; turn the utility supply to the transfer switch off.
- Press the start button and hold until engine starts, approximately 3 seconds or for 10 second intervals.
- Check no load voltage 240-245 and frequency 60-61 Hz; adjust engine speed if necessary (9kW only).
- Turn utility and generator circuit breakers on; set Mode switch to Auto.
- Press and hold the Push to Test button until the generator acceptable light comes on and stays on.
- Check loaded volts and frequency at E1 and E2 (voltage not below 220 V, frequency 60 Hz).
