Installation

Before you start
- Failure to connect and disconnect in the proper sequence can cause equipment damage.
Procedure
- Remove the screws on the top and side of the battery cover and set cover aside.
- Place the battery and tie it down with the battery hold down bar.
- Connect battery charger leads at the same time the battery is connected.
- Connect the positive cable first and the negative cable last.
- When disconnecting, remove the negative cable first then the positive cable last.
Specs & values
- 9kW battery must have at least 235 cold cranking amps; 15kW minimum of 40 amp/hours
- Recommended size U1 lawn mower tractor battery; dimensions 7.5" x 5" x 6.5"
