Procedure

  1. 1. Install all plugs in cylinder block that were removed
  2. 2. Install clean piston cooling orifices.
  3. 3. Install cam followers in hole from which originally
  4. 4. Install camshaft.
  5. 5. Install main bearings and crankshaft. Align timing
  6. 6. Install cylinder liners without O-rings and measure
  7. 7. Install piston and rod assemblies.
  8. 8. Install engine oil pump assembly.
  9. 9. Install crankshaft rear oil seal housing, oil seal,
  10. 10. Install timing gear cover. Install front crankshaft
  11. 11. Install oil pan.
  12. 12. Install engine oil conditioning assembly.
  13. 13. Install water pump.
  14. 14. Install flywheel and housing:
  15. 15. Install cylinder head, push rods, and rocker arm
  16. 16. Install rocker arm cover. Install breather hose.
  17. 17. Install exhaust manifold.
  18. 18. Install aftercooler and intake manifold assembly.
  19. 19. Install ignition timing sensor, coils, ICU, mounting
  20. 20. Install spark plugs and ignition wires.
