Before you start
- Component is spring-assisted and under tension
- To prevent clutch damage, make sure that front draft rod is installed correctly
Procedure
- Park machine safely.
- Put attachment lift lever in the transport position.
- Slide mower under machine.
- Put wooden blocks under each side of mower deck.
- Put attachment lift lever in lowest position.
- Fasten rear draft arm and adjustable lift link, on each side, with washers and spring locking pins.
- Install front draft rod into mower deck bracket in the upper hole.
- Secure front draft rod with washer and spring locking pin.
- Put mower drive belt on engine drive sheave. Make sure belt is routed through both belt guides.
- Remove wooden blocks from both sides of mower deck.
- Attach mower engagement drive cable.
- Level mower deck.
