Procedure

1. Plug the return fuel line.
2. Install the priming connection hose to the fuel filter priming port and put the open end of the hose into a 5 gal (19L) bucket.
3. Loosen the fuel line at the fuel pump to bleed air from fuel line, after air is bled retighten the fuel line.
4. Remove the bolts on the fuel pump and pull the fuel pump away from the engine.
5. Remove the love joy coupling and the key from the pump shaft.
6. Install a drill motor to the pump shaft and run the drill (counter-clockwise) for one minute watching the clean priming hose, note fuel flow into the bucket.
7. Remove the priming hose from filter, and the plug from the return fuel line.
8. Install key and love joy coupling to the fuel pump and tighten coupling to the proper torque spec's.
9. Install fuel pump and tighten bolts to the proper torque spec's.
10. Test run engine.
