Procedure
- Flush the pump and entire system with a solution that will chemically neutralize the liquid pumped.
- Mix according to manufacturer's directions.
- After cleaning, flush it with a permanent type automotive antifreeze containing a rust inhibitor (50-50 solution) or fill the pump with FLUID FILM and drain it.
- Plug the ports or seal the port connections to keep out air during storage.
