Procedure

  1. 1. Install the fuel transfer pump to cylinder block with
  2. pumping lever resting on top of push rod, using a new
  3. O-ring. Tighten cap screws (C) to specifications.
  4. Specification
  5. Fuel Transfer Pump Cap
  6. Screws—Torque
  7. 30 N•m (22 lb-ft)
  8. ..............................................................
  9. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS use a backup wrench when
  10. installing fittings and/or fuel lines onto
  11. supply pump to avoid damage to
  12. fittings.
  13. 2. Connect supply pump inlet line (A) and outlet line (B)
  14. and tighten securely.
  15. 3. Bleed fuel system. See BLEED THE FUEL SYSTEM in

Tools required

  • IMPORTANT: ALWAYS use a backup wrench when

  • 22 lb-ft
