Before you start
- NOTE: Keep foreign material free from replacement
Procedure
- 2. Cap delivery valve holders on pump to prevent
- entering of foreign material.
- 3. Clean housing surface around inlet filter plug.
- 4. Remove inlet filter plug (A) and filter using a hexagonal
- wrench.
- NOTE: Keep foreign material free from replacement
- components.
- 5. Install new filter, o-ring, plug, and gasket. Tighen plug
- to specification.

- Filter Plug—Torque
- 18 N•m (13.3 lb-ft)

- 6. Install high pressure fuel pump. See REMOVE AND
Tools required
- wrench.
