Before you start
- The oil filter contains a quantity of oil of about 1 kg
Procedure
- Drain oil as described in Engine oil change chapter.
- Use tool 99360314 to remove the oil filter.
- Wet the new seal using engine oil before refitting.
- Lock oil filter by hand until contact with support, then lock by 3/4 of a rev. at prescribed torque.
- Pour oil into engine as described in Engine oil change chapter.

Specs & values
- Tighten filter 35 to 40 Nm
