Procedure
- Completely submerge the thermostat in water.
- Heat the water and stir constantly to avoid direct heat applied to the thermostat.
- Check the thermostat initial opening temperature.
- Check the thermostat full opening temperature.
- Check valve lift at fully open position.

- Thermostat Initial Opening Temperature: 82°C (180°F)
- Thermostat Full Opening Temperature: 95°C (203°F)
- Valve Lift at Fully Open Position: 8.0 mm (0.315)
