Before you start

  • After the oil cartridge has been replaced, the engine oil will drop slightly

Procedure

  1. Remove the old oil filter.
  2. Apply a film of oil to the gasket on the new oil filter.
  3. Install the new oil filter.
  4. Run the engine for a while and check for leaks before adding more oil if needed.
  5. Clean excessive oil from engine.
