Procedure
- Clean carbon from piston head and cylinder body surface
- Measure piston projection amount with a dial indicator
- Measure points 1,2,3,4 and obtain differences on each cylinder
- Calculate average projection per cylinder and obtain maximum of four
- Select gasket grade per table

- Difference of each piston projection must be equal or within 0.05 mm (0.002 in)
