Before you start
- Tighten bolt indicated with arrow.
- Tighten stud part together with common rail.
- Install within 7 minutes.
Procedure
- Apply liquid gasket (ThreeBond 1207C or equivalent) bead diameter 2.5-5.5 mm along groove.
- Install within 7 minutes after applying liquid gasket.
- Install case ASM.
- Install gasket on inlet pipe and tighten.
- Install common rail.

Specs & values
- Tightening torque: 22 N·m (16 lb ft) for inlet cover (4HK1)
- Tightening torque: 24 N·m (17 lb ft) for case ASM
