Procedure
- Strip wire ends 1/4 inch.
- Re-twist any loose wires.
- Slide 2-inch pieces of heat shrink tube over wire for later use.
- Insert ends of wires into splice joint and crimp.
- Solder the wires and crimp joint together.
- Center heat shrink tube over splice and shrink.
- Wrap wires with foil tape. Maintain at least 1/2 wrap overlap.
- Center heat shrink tube over the splice and shrink.
