Installation
From a Ingersoll Rand owner's manual — check it applies to your exact model before use.
Before you start
- Adequately support the trolley when lifting into place on the beam; the trolley alone may weigh more than 540 lb (245 kg)
Procedure
- Measure beam flange width
- Place hook plate (14) in middle of hanger shaft (9)
- Add spacers equally to both sides of hook plate; total distance between trolley wheels should be 1/8-1/4 in (3-6 mm) larger than beam flange width
- Place remaining spacers on support shaft (outside of side plates); the last washer MUST be the step washer
- Thread nut(s) (8) onto hanger shaft and loosely tighten
- Remove beam end stop and slide trolley onto beam
- Check clearance between beam flange and trolley wheel flanges; ensure side plates are parallel to beam
- Ensure hook plate is centered under trolley and beam; install end stop on beam
