Procedure

  1. Secure Exhaust Deflector in copper-covered vise jaws
  2. Drive rivet pins inward using pin punch and hammer
  3. Remove rivets using needle nose pliers
  4. Remove Throttle Lever
  5. Remove Throttle Valve Housing Cap Screws with 5/64 hex wrench
  6. Remove Throttle Valve Housing and Seal
  7. Remove Muffler Elements from Exhaust Deflector
  8. Extract Inlet Screen using wooden pencil

Tools required

  • pin punch
  • hammer
  • needle nose pliers
  • 5/64 hex wrench
