Procedure

1. 17. Splined hub removal:
2. a.
3. FA2 Winches: Remove splined hub (19) from shaft
4. (35) followed by retainer ring (32).
5. b.
6. FA2.5 Winches: Loosen the capscrew in collar (18)
7. and slide collar from shaft (35) with the splined hub
8. (19). Remove retainer ring (32) and spacer (34)
9. from shaft (35).
10. 18. Remove retainer ring (36) from the bore of the drum
11. shaft (41).
12. 19. Pull shaft and bearing assembly from the drum shaft
13. (41).
14. 20. Support the drum (80) and remove capscrews (39) from
15. the drum shaft (41). Pry drum shaft (41) from the inboard
