Before you start
- Muffler will be very hot. Allow to cool.
Procedure
- Remove eight 5 mm screws from muffler protector and remove protector.
- Remove 4 mm screw from spark arrester and remove from muffler.
- Use brush to remove carbon deposits from screen.
- Inspect for breaks or holes, replace if necessary.
- Install in reverse order.
