Before you start
- Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting battery terminals.
- A battery presents a risk of electrical shock and high short circuit current.
Procedure
- Turn generator controls to OFF position. Unplug, turn off or disconnect any battery chargers before removing battery cables.
- Remove negative (-) cable.
- Remove positive (+) cable.
- Remove battery.
