Procedure

1. 1. Install a new bellhousing gasket to the cylinder block, as bell-
2. housing locating dowels and studs will hold it in place. ©
3. 2. Check the bellhousing mounting dowels.to be sure that they are
4. tight and in good condition. Install bellhousing and torque,
5. tighten nuts in sequence shown in Illustration No. 7. -
6. 3. Install the rear motor support screws and remove the jack or block
7. from under the crankcase.
8. 4. Install the flywheel. See "Flywheel", Tllustration ‘No. 21, page
9. 35 and "Indicator", Illustration No. 22.
10. 5. Install the clutch or torque converter.
