Before you start

  • Do not leave electric fuel shutoff solenoid energized for extended periods unless engine is running.

Procedure

  1. Close throttle and allow engine to cool down at idle.
  2. On electric fuel shutoff, place start switch in OFF position.
  3. On manual shutoff only, operate stop control to STOP position.
  4. If below freezing and no antifreeze, drain complete coolant system.
