Before you start
- Do not overtighten oil pan bolts.
Procedure
- Remove oil drain plug and gasket; drain crankcase oil.
- If starting motor interferes, disconnect leads and remove starting motor.
- Support oil pan and remove bolts and lock washers; remove oil pan and gaskets.
- Remove front and rear pan seals.
- Install by reversing removal; cement new gaskets to cylinder block.
- Install drain plug and gasket; refill with recommended oil.
