Before you start
- Tape any hot cable terminals.
Procedure
- Drain crankcase oil from both sumps.
- Disconnect starter cable and remove starter if mounted below center line; tape any hot cable terminals.
- Remove bayonet gauge assembly.
- Remove cap screws from oil pan and remove oil pan from engine.
