Hercules G4800 — To Replace The Cylinder Head

Before you start
- Do not retorque hot.
Procedure
- Clean carbon deposits and contact surfaces.
- Install new cylinder head gaskets with fire ring and grommet.
- Place cylinder heads and valve assembly on block.
- Tighten head nuts evenly from center to ends.
- Install push rods and rocker arms.
- Adjust valve tappets.
- Install cylinder head cover with new gasket.
- Connect fuel lines, thermostat, hoses, air cleaner, exhaust.
