Hercules G-1600 — To Disassemble Water Pump

Procedure
- Pull the fan and pulley hub (2) from the bearing-and-shaft assembly (3).
- Reverse the pump housing and press the bearing-and-shaft assembly out of the impeller (4) and housing (1).
- Reverse the housing again and press the seal assembly (5) out of the housing using a proper size drift.
- Wash and clean all other parts and inspect for wear and damage.
- Reface the seal surface of the impeller if grooved or marked; coat seal surface with grease.
